Advisory notes:

Croadaun Forest Park:

General Appearance good.  Some grass verges maintained.  Open spaces kept tidy.

Majority of gardens well kept.  Very little litter. Evidence of community effort.

Grass verges could be kept better.

Hawtorn view:

Poor first impression due to litter. Weeds at verges.  Obvious that efforts to maintain open spaces.

Some spots let overall estate down.  Litter big problem a few houses made effort but more community effort needed.

Thornview Meadows/Ashgrove:

Overall impression excellent.  Verges kept free of weeds – one or two areas could do with attention eg grass cutting.

Strong evidence of community effort.  Open spaces kept well. Almost litter free.

Thornview Gardens/Heights:

General approach not good.   Verges not kept.  Open spaces some evidence of maintenance.  More community effort needed.

Ballygowan View:

Approach very poor.  Little evident.  Grass verges not maintained.  More community effort needed but we do recognise

that some houses are making an effort.

Ballygowan Court:

Nice approach. Well maintained/open spaces kept well.  No Litter.

Wolstan Haven:

General Appearance – Excellent. Very good first impression.  Litter free.  Open spaces well maintained.

Community effort evident.

Oldtown Mill:

Clean up week/ Neighbourhood watch/ Children play area.  Strong community effort very evident.

Verges excellent, no weeds or litter.  Couldn’t t fault estate.

Vanessa Lawns:

Grass verges/ open spaces maintained.  Good overall impression a little extra community effort would bring on

the estates overall impression.

Willowbrooks lawns:

Poor overall impression.  A lot more effort needed.  Litter evident. More community effort needed.

Castle Village:

Average overall impression.  Evidence of maintenance but poor community effort.

A lot of weeds at verges and some grass verges not maintained.  Some litter.

Elm Park:

Could benefit from some planting, tiding grass verges more community effort needed.

Larchfield Mews:

No obvious effort made.  Recommend weeding, planting etc.

Chestnut grove:

Poor community effort.  Green areas need to be maintained better.  Weeding needed to be done.

Improved community effort needed.

Dara Court:

Entrance well kept but rest of estate needs work.

Beatty Park:

Part of estate are well maintained with obvious community effort.

Unfortunately other parts of estate let down overall impression re weeding,

verges and maintenance of open spaces.

Beatty Grove:

Very impressive entrance and over all first impression good but some small areas could do with more effort.

Open spaces kept well.  Good evidence of community effort/neighbourhood watch/ clean ups etc.

Castletown:

Approach is well maintained with obvious community effort in some areas.  As in Beattie Park other parts

of the estate let down overall impression.

Kiladoon park:

Very nice overall appearance, well kept estate. Grass a little long, trees, shrubs and flowers add a lovely feature to estate.

Some litter around but it was noted that it was bin collection day.

Grattan Court

Overall positive impression. Could benefit from strimming of edges, weeding of flowerbeds.  Presence of barrel planters and flowers around trees a nice added extra.  Little or no litter.

Oakleigh

Good Overall impression, estate well maintained, obvious individual efforts but a more collective approach would have a real impact on the area.  Some spots excellently maintained others a little neglected.

Abbey Farm

Beautiful estate, very well maintained.  Obvious community effort, path verges need a little more effort.  A little litter but overall very impressive.

Raphaels Manor:

General appearance good – well maintained estate.  Open spaces well kept. Nice mature trees and bedding.  Lovely entrance area.

Celbridge Abbey:

Very impressive estate. Community effort evident, verges and paths weed free.

Lovely open spaces and general appearances. Some evidence of litter – would need to do some work on that.

Patrick’s Park

Entrance very well kept.  Grass long but wet weather has hampered cutting.   Some areas very well kept with

obvious community effort.  Other areas in need of attention.

The Grove:

Some spaces maintained but overall impressions not great.  Grass verges need more attention.

Entrance area lovely but more effort needed in the estate itself.

Simmonstown Manor:

Very well maintained, obvious community effort.  Grass verges clear of weeds. Overall impression excellent.  Could benefit from some colour.

Chelmsford:

Really beautiful estate.  Colour is magnificent the flowers at the tree bases really bring life to the area.

Entrance presentation beautiful. No weeds or no litter.

Temple Lawns/Primrose Hill:

Average first impressions, could benefit from some planting and colour.   Small area, could have great potential.

Wolstan Abbey:

Nice landscaping but verges need some attention.  Grass and open spaces well maintained.

Overall impression neat but attention needed to entrance.

Simmonstown Park:

Weeding needed to be done and attention to grass verges.  Benefit from planting.  Benches a nice touch.

A little more community effort.

Primrose Gate:

New Estate – good to see participation.  Well maintained gardens well kept.

Could benefit from more collective community effort.

Ballymakealy:

No effort made.  Could do with some support.
